From Sims to Sims 4: When did it all happen?

Will Sims 5 be open world?
Although no promises have been made, the highly requested feature by fans is the introduction of the Open World. The games that were released in past along with the ones released for Nokia N-Gage flaunted an exploration with Open World which is hauntingly similar to the series, Grand Theft Auto.
The Open World experience shall include being able to get out from the home to the city, visit the park, meet neighbours, visit the office, or similar places.
